J&M Food Products Company (“J&M,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit halalcertified.com (the “site”), how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, send us an email or an order form, or call or fax our team, we collect the details you share. On the contact form these are:

• your first and last name
• your email address and phone number
• your country
• your reason for contacting us
• your message
• any file you choose to attach, such as a completed order form

Order forms and quote requests may also include a company name, shipping address and purchase details. Messages sent through the contact form are stored on the site and emailed to our sales team. Please do not include full payment card numbers, bank account details or government ID numbers in a form message or attachment.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and your approximate location based on your IP address. This information is collected through cookies, server logs and similar technologies.

How we use information

• to answer your questions and respond to quote, order and shipping requests
• to process orders, arrange delivery and keep business records
• to send messages related to your request, such as order confirmations and replies
• to operate, secure and improve the site, including preventing spam and abuse

If we send marketing email in the future, each message will include a way to unsubscribe.

• Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Turnstile may collect limited information about your browser and device, such as your IP address, and is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser may request those fonts from Google servers.

Who receives your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and the site, with:

• service providers that host the site, deliver email and provide analytics and security services
• shipping carriers and freight partners, when needed to deliver an order
• professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys
• government authorities and other parties, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety
• a buyer or successor, if J&M is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets

Service providers may use your information only to perform services for us.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including social media pages, retailers, certification bodies and news sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read their policies before sharing information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we reasonably need it to answer your request, serve you as a customer, keep order and business records, meet tax and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. After that, we delete it or remove details that identify you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, access, correct and delete your information and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

The site is operated from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

The site is intended for business, institutional and adult consumers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and change the date below.
